VISIT TO A UKAY SORTING FACTORY

On 21st February 2013, we visited a Ukay sorting factory outside Philippines. We examine their products randomly and quite sastify with it. The bale are all 100kgs and they have Japan and US Bales.

Moth balls have been used for generations to prevent infestations of moths and insects in Store Clothing. However, moth balls contain strong chemicals - naphthalene or 1,4-dichlorobenzene - which can be harmful if the fumes are breathed in or irritating to the skin if clothing comes in direct contact. The odor can also be unpleasant and clothing should be aired outside for at least 48 hours.
